Another enjoyable night in Grangemouth for us. It was pretty busy the entire night and we had dancers once again from the beginning. A really good mixed age group enjoyed themselves and we went home earlier than we are used to happy and a little bit richer. We have been promising to learn a specific song for the last few gigs as everyone wants to hear it so I can now officially confirm its been learned and will be played during our next outing at The Room, Invernss at the end of November.

Foxes was much busier than usual for a Friday with it being halloween and there were some quality costumes on show. Some not leaving much to the imagination, which is NICE!!!
We played a stonking set which had the dancefloor full the whole night and despite the odd annoying drunk person at the front of the stage we all enjoyed it!!
Saturday was also mobbed and after our first break it took me ages to get to the toilet and I was burstin' for a wee. It died down a bit later but was still bouncing up to 1.45 when we finished. Iain played some new high speed fills during the last set which amused us all and again apart from the odd annoying drunk person in fancy dress we all had a great night.
Daz also won £70 on the fruit machine and bought us all a pint. Thanks to our visitors from afar who travelled a long way to see us!!

Friday was very quiet from start to finish and least said about it the better as it wasn't fun for us playing to a half empty venue. It seems that the credit crunch is having a detrimental effect on Inverness as we experienced the Friday blues in Foxes a few weeks back.
Saturday however was excellent, still not a capacity crowd but it was mobbed and still reasonably busy after the midnight curfew. Everybody had a good time (apart from 1 eejit) and danced the night away. We received loads of good comments from the crowd and they enjoyed the banter. We played 2 x 45 minute sets and just over an hour for the last one before hitting Mavericks for a late night beer before bed!

We had been pre-warned that The Braes' finest had been pretty quiet in recent times so not to expect a full house.
When we arrived there was only a few people present however by the time we kicked of word of mouth had got out and it was slightly busier.
We played 2 x 45 minute sets followed by the last hour. By the time the end of the night came around the place was back to its usual bouncy self and they wanted more and more. Unfortunately we were well past last orders and a broken mic stand and bass string meant we couldnt carry on.
Thanks to everyone who made it along, especially the ones who had came to The Tavern the week before.

It has been a while since we rolled into Grangemouth's finest for a gig. I am sure I speak for the whole band when I say that we were a tad tired from the previous nights travelling and could have been doing with a night off.
Im so glad we turned up as we all really enjoyed the whole evening. Its possibly because we had some familiar faces in the crowd but nonetheless it was a great little gig and we are now looking forward to next week at The Brightons Inn.
We played 2 x 45 minute sets and the last one was just over an hour. The crowd clapped after every song and danced to the majority of what we played.
We will be back in The Tavern, hopefully before the end of the year!!
